On behalf of the Danish Center for AI Innovation and its owners the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) and NQCP are happy to announce a workshop with focus on quantum computing within the NVIDIA CUDA-Q framework. This will be the first of a series of workshops as part of the preparation for the launch of the new Danish NVIDIA supercomputer Gefion later this year.

The quantum workshop will be held 15-16 August 2024 at the Niels Bohr Institute, with NVIDIA experts coming in to present the possibilities of CUDA-Q and give hands-on training sessions. Thursday 15 August will be a full day of intro sessions and demonstrations, while Friday 16 August there will be a follow up in the morning for additional questions before the programme ends at noon.

The target audience is end-users of Gefion, interested in using CUDA-Q. This is the first of many training workshops for Gefion, and in the coming months there will be more general training sessions on model parallelism, quantum chemistry with classical software and hardware, molecular dynamics and biology, AI, language models, etc. If CUDA-Q is not of interest for you, but you are interested in another workshop in the future, please let us know and we can keep you on the mailing list.
