The Swedish company ConScience has decided to join Danish Quantum Community as a new partner. The company recently established a subsidiary, operating from the cleanroom at DTUNanolab in Lyngby.
ConScience specializes in clean-room production and has spent recent years developing methods for producing quantum computing devices with sufficiently high quality and reproducibility to meet the demands of their clients.
Current clients include research teams at the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, and Harvard, as well as high-tech companies in fields such as antibiotic susceptibility testing, air quality monitoring, and quantum computing.
In 2024, ConScience launched the so-called Qubit-in-a-box (QiB0) – a superconducting quantum device. This quantum device can be used to demonstrate simple quantum processes such as decoherence and dephasing, as well as to calibrate and verify the performance of quantum computing test setups. The most recent version boasts T1 relaxation times exceeding 200 microseconds.
