Qpurpose in new collaboration with Novo Nordisk

DQC partner and Danish spin-out from The University of Southern Denmark, Qpurpose, has signed an agreement with Novo Nordisk – the largest pharmaceutical company in Denmark. 

“We are very excited to partner with Novo Nordisk to advance the use of quantum technology in healthcare,” says Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen, Centre Director, Professor, and founder of Qpurpose and adds:

“With our expertise in quantum mathematics and algorithms, we have already made significant strides in sectors such as energy and finance. We look forward to exploring their potential in the pharmaceutical industry alongside Novo Nordisk, demonstrating how quantum technology can revolutionize healthcare solutions.”

The new collaboration will support Novo Nordisk in how to tackle cronic diseases a key focus area for the company:

Quantum computing holds the promise of solving problems beyond the scope of classical computers, making a real difference in the lives of those living with chronic disease” says Senior VP of Data Science at Novo Nordisk, Thomas Senderovitz.
