On Thursday 27th October 4:00pm, NNF are hosting a lecture on Quantum Computers and Simulators.
Many research and industry applications are currently contemplating how to achieve an advantage from using quantum computers and quantum simulators. In return, Novo Nordisk Foundation has just awarded DKK 1.5 billion to do what the technology giants and major powers around the world have not yet succeeded in doing: building a full-scale generally applicable quantum computer through the Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme. At this upcoming lecture, Peter Lodahl, Morten Kjaergaard, and Jan Arlt will provide an overview of the main mission of the recently announced Quantum Computing Programme, and the significant progress that has been made with the development of quantum simulators as well as noisy intermediate-scale quantum (#NISQ) computer.
The lecture is free, open to all, and available for both physical and online participation.
Feel free to share with whoever you think might find it relevant.
