Strong Danish presence at the UK National Quantum Showcase

This November, the Danish Quantum Community participated in the UK National Quantum Showcase with a Danish quantum delegation consisting of 10 of our partners. This was our largest Danish quantum delegation to the UK to date—and what a success it was.

The exhibition at the UK National Quantum Showcase is usually reserved for UK companies only, but this year selected countries were invited to participate as international exhibitors. Fortunately, Denmark was among the chosen few, and we were extremely pleased to take part.

Together with the Danish Embassy in the UK, the Danish Quantum Community organised a Danish stand promoting the Danish quantum ecosystem and several of our partners. Among the Danish exhibitors were BioInnovation Institute, Kvantify, QunaSys, Diasense, Molecular Quantum Solutions, NQCP (NNF Quantum Computing Programme), Qpurpose, QUDORA, Sparrow Quantum, and Vescent.

The official programme also had a strong Danish footprint. The Danish Ambassador to the UK, Kristina Miskowiak Beckvard, delivered a keynote speech in which she highlighted how Denmark is working with NATO’s Transatlantic Quantum Community and encouraged quantum companies to get involved in the TQC Network. After the talk, the Ambassador visited the Danish exhibition area, where she was introduced to the Danish quantum delegation and engaged in conversations to learn more about the different companies.

At DQC, we are grateful for the opportunity to exhibit at the showcase. The level of interest, activity, and engagement around the Danish area throughout the day is a clear indicator of the strong international attention toward the Danish quantum ecosystem and the excellent collaboration between the United Kingdom and Denmark.

We look forward to continuing and strengthening our collaboration with the UK and hope for the chance to exhibit again in the future.
