We are pleased to announce that QVersion has joined the Danish Quantum Community as a new partner.
QVersion is a deep tech spin-out from Aarhus University developing chip-scale, tunable mid-infrared laser technology for high precision molecular sensing and secure free-space communication.
QVersion builds on a simple but powerful idea: bring the maturity, scalability and reliability of telecom photonics into the mid-infrared. By leveraging on mature semiconductor processes and standard manufacturing equipment, the company is developing compact laser modules designed for fast, cost efficient volume production.
Mid-infrared light gives direct access to the molecular fingerprint region. QVersion‘s platform is designed to make that capability smaller, more efficient and easier to integrate, enabling advanced gas sensing for industrial emissions, environmental monitoring, process control and healthcare diagnostics. The same photonic platform also supports the laser infrastructure needed for quantum secure free-space links.
With QVersion, the DQC ecosystem gains a partner with strong integrated photonics expertise, a clear path from university research to industrial deployment and an ambition to make high performance mid-infrared technology broadly accessible.
