We are thrilled to announce LQUOM as a new partner of DQC.
LQUOM is a Japanese deep-tech startup developing technologies for quantum communication. Founded in 2020, the company is building the infrastructure required for long-distance quantum communication, supporting highly secure networks for applications in finance, healthcare, telecommunications, and defense. Its expertise includes quantum repeaters, which preserve quantum states and enable quantum communication over long distances.
Recently, LQUOM closed a €6.8 million (JPY 1.23 billion) Series B funding round and signed a Joint Research Agreement with Toshiba to advance long-distance Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), marking another important step in the company’s continued development.
