Copenhagen Microsystems is a Danish start-up originating from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) pioneering 3D Ice Lithography; a transformative technology that uses organic ice materials as temporary resist-type of layers to build intricate structures at the nano and microscale. By precisely controlling the freezing, writing and thawing processes, Copenhagen Microsystems can fabricate highly detailed patterns and components with exceptional accuracy.
This innovative approach opens new possibilities for industries, where precision and functionality are paramount. In electronics, photonics and medtech it allows for the development of ultra-fine components that can power the next generation of devices, including quantum devices.
