If you are following the quantum agenda in Denmark, it probably has not escaped your attention that November has very much been marked by the EQTC taking place in Copenhagen.
Throughout three full days, the conference transformed Copenhagen into a quantum hub bringing together close to 1,000 participants from more than 40 countries including researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, students, ecosystem builders, and many others.
The conference clearly demonstrated both the potential of quantum technology and its growing importance on the Danish and European political agendas while showcasing a diverse and rapidly evolving Danish and European quantum ecosystem.
Danish Quantum Pavilion
At DQC, we are proud to have organised the Danish Quantum Pavilion together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, The International Quantum Hub, and the Danish Business Authority. The Pavilion showcased Danish companies and their solutions, and proved to be a great success. Thank you to all the companies who participated and everyone who stopped by to learn more and engage.
A particular highlight was a visit by His Majesty The King, accompanied by European Commissioner, Hanna Virkunnen, Minister of Higher Education and Science, Christina Egelund, and Minister of European Affairs, Marie Bjerre, at our Pavilion in the morning of the opening day. They were welcomed by our Chair and Managing Director, who introduced them to the Danish quantum ecosystem and several of our partners. Their presence made the event truly memorable, and underscored the significance of quantum technology in Denmark.
In addition, DQC helped organise two panels; one focusing on use-cases within life science, and another addressing the role of ecosystems and the importance of international collaboration at ecosystem level.
A huge congratulations to the organisers for a successful and well executed event and a strong collaboration.
